Peak Products today announced the Starpex guitar controller for the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3. The Starpex is fully compatible with Rock Band and Guitar Hero III, and the boasts a full-size hardwood body, neck and headstock for an authentic look and feel.

Designed as a premium accessory for the high-score chasing music game addict/veteran, the Starpex guitar features a number of enhancements:

• Star Power / Overdrive button placed next to the strum bar for easy access
• Frets designed for optimal button travel promise reduced fatigue, higher scores
• Strum bar designed to give the perfect balance of tactile and audible feedback
• Wired / Wireless capabilities - a 15′ cable and 2.4GHz wireless connection are included
