Yesterday we told you that Jimi Hendrix songs were coming to Guitar Hero. Now CBC News has confirmed the two Jimi Hendrix tracks that are set to appear in the upcoming Guitar Hero World Tour.

The tracks are “The Wind Cries Mary” and a live version of “Purple Haze” recorded a year before his death in 1970. That leaves Activision with the licenses to “Foxy Lady” and “Little Wing” so you can expect these two songs to appear as downloadable content in the future.
