Guitar Hero World Tour screenshots look awfully similar to Rock Band

Activision recently showed Guitar Hero World Tour to the press at E3, and I’m willing to bet there was more than a few people who noticed some distinct similarities with Rock Band.

Here are the reasons that the two games look alike
1. Harmonix and Red Octane worked together on Guitar Hero, GH:II and GH: Rocks the 80’s….so of course anything that Harmonix had in their minds they would’ve taken to EA just as Red Octane did with Activision.
2. it’s a rock simulation game….one could say that Rock Band ripped off of a combination of GuitarFreaks, DrumMania, and Karaoke Revolution or another one could say that the GH franchise was a take on games such as GuitarFreaks.
I personally like both game franchises and look forward to what each one has to offer us in the future.
